Welcome to New Mexico History! This is an inquiry based class designed to foster curiosity, creativity, and responsibility.
As we explore the topics listed below, we will complete formative and summative assessments, which will culminate in one product for each unit.
This is work done in class, homework, and quizzes. These can be seen as practice, or rehearsal, depending on your perspective.
This is made up of tests, projects, Socratic Seminars and an individually created product for each Unit. This can be seen as the match/game or performance, depending on your perspective.
Formative Assessments: 33.3% - many of these per unit
Summative Assessments: 33.3% - few of these per unit
Individual Product*: 33.3% - one of these per unit
Homework, Late Work, Test Corrections, etc., will follow ATC Policy.
*The Individual Product will vary from unit to unit, but some examples are art projects, newspaper/pamphlet creations, persuasive essays, presentations, etc.
